Cuttlebug Folder Cover

I made this!!!!  I didn't cover something I bought.  I actually made this folder. I covered it, mod podged and decorated it.  As you can tell I am really quite happy that I finished it.  I often struggle to finish most things that aren't cards so I was a little proud of myself.  Inside this cover is my cuttlebug embossing folders.
Let me know if you are interested in seeing the inside and I will add a pic.

In the Bag

Well on the bag actually.  At a workshop, we all had a go at stamping on calico bags.  It was amazing to watch ten creative people busy making their own designs.  Stampin' Up's two step stamps were great for these.
I made this bag for my daughter,  she chose the colours and the stamp set which is her favourite. I used  Bold Butterflies and the Flitting By jumbo wheel. Colours are Tempting turquoise, Pixie pink, More mustard and certainly celery.  I think I will add her name somewhere to make it more personal.  Now that I have stamped my first calico bag, I think I might try another one, especially now that I have so many ideas from this clever group.

Teacher's present '07

Images copyright Stampin' Up! 1990-2008
Here is a picture of a frame I made for my son's teacher at the end of last year.  I know that it is a bit late but I have a lot of catching up to do.  I used the "All in the Family" set from Stampin' Up! (R) for the kids and teacher.  The frame was inspired by a frame made by Jayne Mercer. Her blog is always an inspiration.  The frame is 12x12 and the letters are painted chipboard. The teacher is waving from the "O" in the middle of her name. I also made a matching card with the teacher and my son represented by the "All in the Family" characters.  The colours I used were brocade blue, certain celery, whisper white and pumpkin pie card stock for the card.   I hope you like it.   This is my first attempt at posting pictures so forgive me if I get it wrong.
